The 12" × 52" Natural Mineral Tank provides increased treatment-media capacity for residential, light-commercial, and OEM water-treatment systems. Its 12-inch-diameter, 52-inch configuration is commonly used in water softeners, activated-carbon filters, calcite neutralizers, ion-exchange equipment, and other backwashing media systems.
A standard 2.5-inch top opening provides an interface for a compatible water-treatment control valve or adapter. The vessel can be integrated with appropriately matched riser tubes, internal distributors, seals, valves, and plumbing components.
Composite FRP construction provides corrosion resistance and structural strength without the rust concerns associated with conventional metal vessels. The natural off-white finish offers a clean, professional appearance for residential, commercial, OEM, and private-label equipment installations.
The included support base helps maintain the tank in its required vertical position. A 12×52 vessel is commonly configured with approximately 2 cubic feet of compatible treatment media, subject to media density, bed-depth requirements, freeboard, and backwash expansion.
Treatment-media quantity, service-flow rate, pressure loss, backwash requirements, and control-valve capacity must be calculated for the intended application. Water-softener grain capacity also depends on the resin type, salt dosage, water conditions, and regeneration settings.
