The 18" × 65" Natural Mineral Tank provides substantial treatment-media capacity for commercial water softening, filtration, ion exchange, and specialty media systems. Its 18-inch-diameter, 65-inch configuration is designed for equipment requiring greater media volume, increased bed area, and higher treatment capacity than standard residential mineral tanks.
A 4-inch top opening provides improved access for installing compatible control valves, tank adapters, riser tubes, and distributor assemblies. The exact neck thread and required adapter must be confirmed before selecting the control valve or internal components.
Composite FRP construction provides corrosion resistance and structural strength without the rust concerns associated with conventional steel vessels. Its natural off-white exterior creates a clean, professional appearance for commercial equipment rooms, OEM systems, pretreatment equipment, and private-label water-treatment assemblies.
An included support base helps maintain the vessel in its required vertical position. Depending on the selected media and required freeboard, an 18×65 tank may be configured with approximately 5 to 6 cubic feet of compatible treatment media.
Treatment-media quantity, service-flow rate, pressure loss, distributor configuration, backwash requirement, and control-valve capacity must be calculated for the intended application. The 18-inch tank diameter may require substantial backwash flow, making proper hydraulic sizing essential.
