The 2/2-Way Brass Solenoid Valve provides electrically operated on-and-off flow control for compatible commercial and industrial water systems. This configuration combines 1-1/2-inch connections, a durable brass valve body, 110V electrical operation, and a normally closed valve function.
When electrical power is removed, the normally closed valve remains shut to help stop flow through the pipeline. Applying the specified voltage energizes the solenoid coil and opens the valve, subject to the valve’s operating-pressure and flow-direction requirements. This fail-closed operation makes it suitable for automated supply, filling, shutoff, equipment-protection, and process-control applications.
The large 1-1/2-inch connection size supports substantial water-flow requirements where a smaller valve could create excessive restriction. Its brass construction provides strength and corrosion resistance for approved water and compatible-liquid applications when the valve is operated within its specified pressure, temperature, electrical, and fluid-compatibility limits.
Designed for direct inline installation, the valve can be integrated into properly engineered control systems using compatible relays, timers, level switches, pressure switches, control panels, or programmable controllers. Common applications include commercial reverse osmosis equipment, industrial water filtration, pretreatment systems, process-water lines, storage-tank filling, and automated water-supply assemblies.
Confirm whether the coil is labeled 110V AC or 110/120V AC, along with the frequency, thread standard, operating mechanism, pressure range, minimum pressure differential, seal material, temperature rating, orifice diameter, flow coefficient, enclosure rating, installation orientation, and fluid compatibility before publishing those details as guaranteed specifications.
