The 21" × 62" Natural Mineral Tank provides substantial media volume for commercial water-softening, filtration, ion-exchange, and specialty media systems. Its 21-inch-diameter configuration creates increased media-bed area for equipment requiring greater treatment capacity than standard residential mineral tanks.
A 4-inch top opening provides access for a compatible commercial control valve, tank adapter, riser tube, or internal distributor assembly. Many standard control valves require a reducer or adapter before they can be installed on a 4-inch tank neck.
Composite FRP construction provides corrosion resistance and structural strength without the rust concerns associated with conventional steel vessels. The natural exterior offers a clean, professional appearance for commercial equipment rooms, filtration skids, OEM systems, and industrial pretreatment installations.
An included standard support base helps maintain the vessel in its required vertical position. A 21×62 tank is commonly configured with approximately 7 cubic feet of compatible treatment media, subject to media density, gravel underbed, bed-depth requirements, freeboard, and backwash expansion.
The selected control valve, distributor, inlet piping, and drain system must provide the service and backwash flow required for the tank diameter and media. Proper hydraulic sizing is essential for consistent treatment performance.
