The 8" × 44" Natural Mineral Tank provides a compact pressure-vessel configuration for residential and light-commercial water-treatment systems. It features a 2.5-inch threaded top opening and an integrated base for stable vertical installation.
Its nominal 8-inch diameter and 44-inch height provide greater internal volume than shorter 8-inch tanks while maintaining a narrow installation footprint. The natural-color exterior offers a clean, neutral appearance for water-treatment equipment and may provide limited visibility of internal shadows or media level, depending on the tank’s exact construction and finish.
The 2.5-inch top opening accommodates compatible control valves, in-and-out heads and water-treatment components with the correct thread configuration. The tank can be incorporated into properly designed water-softening, filtration, ion-exchange and specialty-media systems.
Potential media applications include softener resin, activated carbon, neutralizing media and other filtration materials approved for the system. Recommended media loading must account for media density, expansion during backwashing, distributor displacement and required freeboard.
