The ULP1812-50 Reverse Osmosis Membrane is an ultra-low-pressure membrane element designed for the treatment of properly pretreated, low-salinity water sources. Its compact residential format supports installation in compatible membrane housings used in under-sink, point-of-use and light-commercial RO systems.

Under specified test conditions, the ULP1812-50 provides a nominal permeate-flow rating of 50 gallons per day, or approximately 189 liters per day. Current product literature reports a stable salt-rejection rate of 99%, helping reduce dissolved salts and other membrane-rejectable substances from compatible feedwater.

The membrane is engineered to operate at a test pressure of 60 PSI, making it suitable for residential water-purification systems designed around lower feed pressures. Actual permeate production depends on incoming pressure, water temperature, feedwater salinity, recovery rate and membrane condition.

The ULP1812-50 is suitable for qualifying tap water, municipal water, well water and other low-salinity sources when proper pretreatment is provided. Sediment, hardness, iron, organic matter and oxidizing chemicals should be controlled to protect membrane performance and service life.
