The ULP1812-75 Reverse Osmosis Membrane is an ultra-low-pressure membrane element designed for treating properly pretreated, low-salinity water sources. Its compact residential configuration supports installation in compatible membrane housings used in under-sink, point-of-use and light-commercial reverse osmosis systems.
Under specified test conditions, the ULP1812-75 provides a nominal permeate-flow rating of 75 gallons per day, or approximately 280 liters per day. Current manufacturer information reports a stable salt-rejection rate of 98%, helping reduce dissolved salts and other membrane-rejectable substances from compatible feedwater.
The membrane is tested at 60 PSI, providing greater nominal water production than a 50 GPD element while retaining a compact residential format. Actual permeate flow depends on incoming water pressure, temperature, dissolved-solids concentration, recovery rate and membrane condition.
The ULP1812-75 is suitable for qualifying tap water, municipal water, well water and other low-salinity sources when appropriate pretreatment is provided. Sediment, hardness, iron, organic matter and oxidizing chemicals should be controlled to protect the membrane and maintain system performance.
