The ULP21-2521 Reverse Osmosis Membrane is a compact, ultra-low-pressure membrane element designed for efficient dissolved-solids reduction in commercial and light-industrial water-treatment systems. Its nominal 2.5-inch × 21-inch configuration supports installation in compatible 2521 membrane housings and compact RO equipment.
Under specified test conditions, the membrane provides a nominal permeate flow of 300 gallons per day and a stable salt-rejection rate of 99%. Its ultra-low-pressure design helps generate dependable permeate quality while operating at lower pressure than many conventional low-pressure membrane elements.
The spiral-wound membrane configuration provides an active membrane area of approximately 14 square feet within a compact element. This makes the ULP21-2521 suitable for applications where installation space, energy efficiency, permeate production, and dissolved-solids rejection are important considerations.
The membrane is intended for appropriately pretreated, low-salinity feedwater such as municipal water, groundwater, and surface water within the manufacturer’s operating limits. Proper pretreatment is essential for controlling sediment, hardness, scale, iron, organic fouling, and oxidizing chemicals that could reduce membrane performance or service life.
